This coming November I’m led for its traveling event in the world, World Travel Market to London. There will be over 45,000 attendees in more than 190 nations in attendance. There will be tour companies, tourism boards, airlines, hotel groups, restaurant and traveling bloggers such as myself. It is the chance to create connections for your long run and to socialize with hundreds of individuals in the travel business.
My trip’s aim will be to meet with tourism boards, hotel groups, airlines and traveling bloggers. Every day , I have over a dozen appointments to discuss these companies with each about going to the destinations they signify. My goal is to line up the next decade of my journeys. I have ordered, I will also make use of my time between meetings to walk throughout the convention and introduce myself to numerous agents.
I have also been invited to two special occasions – a media event with also the Hostel Bookers Travel Bloggers awards and Travel Bloggers Unite. Both events will be full of Travel Bloggers, and that’s what I have been looking forward to for ages!
Here Are a Few of my friends in the biz That I will be meeting up with: Marcello: Wandering Trader, David: GoBackpacking, Nellie: Wildjunket, Melvin: Travel Dudes, Ana: Mrs. O Round the World, and Gary: Everything Everywhere.
I thought it’d be an excellent idea on why World Travel Market is a occasion for each and every travel business professional, to create a video series. My preparations will be highlighted by the movies. The very first video I made is titled”Why World Travel Market?” It explains the reasons why I’m heading to London and also a little bit of info about myself to anyone who doesn’t know me.
About putting my program together for World Travel Market, the next few movies will be. It is simple: I need to wake up around 2:15 a.m. to get into the workplace by 3 a.m. in order to get in contact with all the Asia/Middle East/Africa and Europe tourism offices. For many nations in Asia, 3 a.m. Eastern Standard is 3 p.m. their time.
From the video on scheduling my days, I take you about how best to put this 21, into my world. I find that the toughest part is that tourism boards do not speak English, making it hard to set up meetings with a few of the Asian nations.
As you see, I start piecing the schedule together. After one night of calling, I was able to schedule in WTM. Since that time, I have completed.
Here’s the video of my middle of the night phoning, which was a terrific success!
What my schedule looks like right now (as of October 26th).
I will be following up with tourism boards that have not yet responded, and creating a more sleepy-eyed calls during the next three weeks.
There will be a few movies about scheduling my meetings, and following that I invite you to follow along with me during my journey into London. I booked my flat with Wimdu, that saved me a chance when compared with getting a hotel during this occasion. I’ll be receiving lots of tourism boards and traveling bloggers on cam to tell me a bit about themselves and why they’ve chosen to be in World Travel Market. I would like the string to reveal traveling professionals that this is the ideal occasion to attend to make contacts.
I’ll be submitting them to the blog post as I create a lot of these videos. To get updates right away please subscribe to my own Youtube Channel. I know this is going to be an occasion that changes my life eternally and carries my business into a new direction for 2013 and beyond.
Thank you for taking the time to read this post. Join me on my mission!
